The CENTQUATRE-PARIS and the Théâtre de la Ville offer a double spotlight to the fascinating work of Israeli choreographer Emanuel Gat, by presenting SACRE and GOLD, an atypical diptych based on the recreation of two of his previous pieces.
Reworking the Sacre du printemps (2004), a major piece of Gat’s repertoire, SACRE celebrates the explosive alliance between Stravinsky and salsa to drag the public into a hypnotic whirlwind. New version of The Goldlandbergs (2013), GOLD kindles, using fundamental artworks by Glenn Gould, an intense resonance between music and dance to deeply explore human relationships.
