A great escape in a natural space

2021.03.27

What an amazing equation of connecting body, nature and landscape! Sylvain Prunenec has been exploring natural spaces for several years, in long walks and at the heart of the elements. His last crossing all the way to Russia led him to bring 48e parallèle to the stage, in the shape of an intersection of stories. At the heart of the Park of La Poudrerie, the choreographer settles to listen, understand and take inspiration from this “intermediary” natural space: a real sanctuary of greenery crossed through by the Ourcq canal, the park is as much a refuge for the fauna and flora as a vestige of past industrial activity. This ambulatory experience in the landscape, in porosity with its history, becomes a poetical evocation made up of dance, music, texts and images. Ready for the journey? Here is a crossing that opens our imagination to peregrination and offers to our gaze a truly great escape!
