A great name of contemporary dance, Angelin Preljocaj is presenting two recent creations brought together in a same programme. The short piece Ghost takes on the captivating form of an immersion in the spirit and the world of the great choreographer Marius Petipa. Still Life, a large piece for 6 dancers taking its inspiration from the pictorial genre of vanitas, echoes this: a splendid and eminently suggestive modern ballet, chanted by the music of the duo Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
