A store to charity bargain-hunt
Next to the bookstore, you will find the store Emmaüs Défi, a hiding place for objects filled with stories: antique furniture, vintage clothing for adults and children, crockery, books, kitchen appliances, jewellery, records, CD’s or knickknacks... Come and sit on a sofa and read a book, and then leave with the book and why not the sofa itself!

You can also find the Emmaüs Made creations of the personnel, where records are turned into vintage stools, faded furniture into pop pieces, ties into ladders or screens...
Knitting and sewing workshops
The Emmaüs Défi store of CENTQUATRE-PARIS holds knitting and sewing workshops.
The knitting workshop takes place from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
As for the sewing workshop, it also takes place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Wednesdays.
Free and open to butterfingers!
Donating your objects
Just opposite the CENTQUATRE-PARIS, at the Riquet store of Emmaüs Défi:
- come and see the 950 sqm of the store, at the entrance on 40 rue Riquet
- drop off your object donations at the entrance on 6 rue Archereau. You can also donate to Emmaüs Défi and schedule a home collection (free), by going on the online platform created for this.
When you shop at Emmaüs Défi, you are supporting insertion work groups.
