The "Patrons of the CENTQUATRE" are a group of companies which have decided to contribute to the overall project of the CENTQUATRE. They are gathering into a structure which is the new French equivalent to the American Endowment funds: the "fonds de dotation".
Created in June 2009 with a 700.000 euro donation, the "Patrons of the CENTQUATRE" are led by three key figures from the business world: Jean-Louis Chaussade, Chief Executive of Suez Environnement, serving as president, Philippe Lemoine, chairman of LaSer Group and Matthias Leridon, Chairman of Tilder, serving as Vice-presidents. The directors of Générale de Santé, Crédit Foncier, GDF Suez and groupe La Poste are also serve on the board of trustees.
