The DIXNEUF is a regular event organised by the two directors of the CENTQUATRE, Frédéric Fisbach and Robert Cantarella. They offer what they call "champ critique", a joint process of critical thought. These are discussions in the form of meetings, talks or ephemeral creations linked to working processes in art production. Sometimes they take the form of a regular and more constructed series, such as "Penser puis acter" [Think then act], "Deleuze à voix haute" [Deleuze out loud], "Classiques par temps de crise" [Classics in a crisis] or the "cartes blanches" given to magazines. Other encounters are improvised according to current events and allow the public to meet with the artists.
